Andy Cohen Prevails Over Son's Slinky in Epic 'Fight'

Andy Cohen threw down with his five-year-old son's broken Slinky on Christmas morning, emerging intact from the battle... but with the toy in irreparable condition, People magazine reported.

But it wasn't a total loss: Cohen made a teachable moment of the twisty fracas.

"Did you get a Slinky under your tree?" the talk show host asked in the Stories video. "Well, if you have a five-year-old, the shelf life of a Slinky is very fast."

Fast as in it took young Ben less than four minutes from unwrapping the toy to putting it out of commission, Cohen detailed, according to People.

"It looks so much worse right now," Cohen went on to say, displaying the destroyed plaything. "This is the result of me having a fight with the Slinky while I was trying to fix it... but it just didn't."

Things went better in another Stories video in which Cohen and his daughter Lucy, 2, contemplated taking on the challenge of assembling the hundreds of pieces of a Lego toy. Smash cut to a while later, and Cohen proudly displayed the finished product: A sleek space fighter.

Happy holidays!
