'RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars,' Season 2 :: Coco

Scott Holland READ TIME: 2 MIN.

It's been 4 years since RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars Season 1, and we found out, almost a year ago, that it was being taped, so thank god the episodes and the drama are finally back for us all to talk about.

When the episode starts Ru informs the All Stars that she will not be eliminating anybody, but rather announcing the top 2 every week who will Lip Synch for legacy. The Legacy winners will win $10,000 every week. What she didn't say, and what we found out much later in the episode, is that the winner will also choose which of the bottom contestants go home.

The first mini challenge is the iconic "Reading is Fundamental." Alaska won this. The main challenge was a Talent Show Extravaganza. Adore, CoCo and Phi-Phi were the bottom 3 and the top 2 were Tatianna and Roxxxy. Roxxxy ends up winning the lip Synch for legacy and eliminates who she thought was the weakest that week, CoCo. It was a pleasure to sit down, once again, with CoCo, just one day after being eliminated.

How has your life changed since you were on Drag Race?

Life has been absolutely amazing, and I couldn't ask for anything else. I am so lucky to be one of the chosen. One of the 100 girls to grace that stage and then to be chosen for all stars...I feel totally blessed.

What has been some of your favorite cities to visit as RuPaul Alumni?

The European tour was great. Manchester was fabulous. Oh, and I can't forget Brazil, which was also absolutely amazing. The fans internationally are incredible.

How exciting was it to get called back for "All Stars?"

It was exciting and terrifying at the same time.

Did you consider not coming back? If not, how come?

It was absolutely going to be a yes, without a doubt. After I committed was when I was terrified. I knew I would be with the best of the best and I want people to see the best I have to offer.

How did you prepare differently for all stars than you did the first time on the show?

I think I went into it more optimistically and decided to take the risk of not being the typical CoCo that everyone knows, so I went for it.

Now that you have been eliminated, who do you want to win?

Alaska. In season 5 when I walked into the room, she was the only queen I did not get. Since then I have grown to love her, and I am her biggest fan right now. She has grown into this amazing performer. Alaska is my heart.

What's ahead?

I want it all. My main goal is to nurture the up and coming talents. I would love to give the new kids a place to perform at, so if there are any investors out there, Contact Me!
