South African pop sensation, Toya Delazy, has grown frustrated with the lack of stock of her latest album "Ascension" in music stores around South Africa and has made the decision to make the album available for free listening online.

Ascension is Delazy's second album released with Sony Music Africa, following on from her highly acclaimed debut album "Due Drop," which made her a household name across the African continent.

The Zulu pop princess took to Twitter to vent her frustration tweeting; "I woke up frustrated, frustrated from fans desperately asking me where to find the new album."

Delazy then tweeted; "The sad reality is that one has to pay to get some space in music stores, soon we'll have to pay to breathe..."

"My music is about empowerment, love, desire, believing, dreaming -- it ain't about f*cking money," she added. "So lets break the system, let's show them how much cash they are losing by not stocking up enough #Ascension albums."

She then tweeted a link to her SoundCloud page with the album made available for free to all of her fans.
