Watch: Theo James Sparks Internet Frenzy with Italian Seaside Video for Dolce & Gabbana

Sweat, thirst, and Dolce & Gabbana: It's all come together in an ad campaign showcasing strapping British actor Theo James wearing little more than D&G's Light Blue brand of fragrances. The "White Lotus" hunk's beauty is matched by the setting – the Italian coast – as well as his co-star in a lush video: Supermodel Vittoria Ceretti.

The video finds the pair snuggling close in a variety of waterside scenarios, from sharing a white raft (in matching white swim suits, suitably scanty) to climbing a rocky slope.

One shot captures the duo gracefully swimming underwater, while another shows a dripping James emerging from the sea before approaching a sunbathing Ceretti.

The campaign's imagery was captured last July with photos from the shoot shared on social media, where they ignited a viral meltdown.

The heat was just as intense with the release of the finished ad spot. Gay Twitter had thoughts, and didn't hold back on airing them.
