While Katy Perry's newest single,"Roar," comfortably sits at the No. 2 spot on Billboard's Hot 100, the singer shared another new cut from her upcoming album "Prism": "Walking On Air" -- a banger that utilizes the empowering beats of Chicago house and is charged by flecks of disco melodies.

"Another color from my #PRISM: WALKING ON AIR! Available NOW as part of my #PRISMPREVIEW!," the singer tweeted. "And you can see me LIVE from London at #iTunesFestival! @iconapop and @iggyazalea open starting at 7:30p GMT Sept 30th!"

It was produced by Klas Ahlud and co-written by Ahlund and Max Martin. Ahlud said Perry "really want[ed] [to] bring that kind of authentic '90s deep house song styling back" and compared "Walking On Air" to Crystal Waters' "100% Pure Love" and CeCe Peniston's "Finally" - two tracks that dominated the house scene in the '90s.

The retro jam is the third song Perry has released off "Prism," out Oct. 22. On Sept. 17, Perry shared "Dark Horse," featuring rapper Juicy J. The eerie track uses elements of trap music and hip-hop, which showcases Perry's darker side. "Dark Horse" reached No. 17 on Billboard's Hot 100.
